As a COVID-19 prevention measure, both the Sunday Quaker meeting, our worship group in Quebec City, and the Wednesday midweek meeting will be suspended until at least May 1st. See our COVID-19 page for online worship options and other updates as we learn more.

Welcome to the website of the Montreal Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers). We hope you find what you’re looking for here.

The Montreal Quaker Meeting meets every Sunday at 11 A.M. There is also a Midweek Meeting, a Quebec City Worship Group, a Laurentian Worship Group, and we may soon form a South Shore Worship Group. Once a month we have singing and most of the year we have a children’s program–please contact us in advance to confirm the details!

The Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) arose in England 350 years ago, under the leadership of George Fox and Margaret Fell. Friends upheld that there was an Inner Light or “that of God” in every human being. The promptings of love we find within are the source of our Quaker commitment to human rights, global justice, prison abolition, sustainability and peace.
